The ladies open the track at Churchill Downs!
The wait is over! the first of the two races runs today this is what marks each season of Churchill Downs.
The Kentucky Oaks, which previously ran on the same card, prior to the Kentucky Derby, with the passage of time has earned a special place and therefore divided the May party into two shows. Today it will be celebrated with in full. The fourteen assigned caissons will be full and as if that were not enough, there are two fillies waiting for some desertion before 8 o’clock in the morning
