Warriors and Suns want to reach the top of the Conference

Warriors-and-Suns

The Golden State Warriors host Phoenix at the Oracle Arena in a Pacific Division match. Both teams have suffered a loss to the Nuggets so far this season and want to continue adding points to reach the top of the Western Conference.

The home team, Golden State, had run of two consecutive wins, the first against the Oklahoma City Thunders by 108-100 and the second at the home of the Utah Jazz with a score of 123-124, but last night visited the current leader of the Conference, Denver Nuggets, and lost 100-98 in a match that was very even during the four quarters. Stephen Curry had a great performance in the game against Denver and averages 31 points and 7.7 assists per game.

The average points scored by the Warriors is 110, with 48.7% effectiveness in their shots, while the average points allowed is 107.7 per game. Next to Curry is the other Golden State star, Kevin Durant, who averages 28.3 points per game and gives 9.3 rebounds in favor.

The Suns, meanwhile, are presented after a home win against the Dallas Mavericks by 121 to 100 and in their most recent game fell to the Nuggets with a crushing score of 119-91. Still the Suns average 106 points scored by match and 46.2% of effectiveness in their shots.

Phoenix has Devin Brooker at his best talent, averaging 30 points and 7 assists per game. The 21-year-old is always a threat to the offense, but has not fared well against the Warriors in his career, with only 13.4 points and 34.5% shooting effectiveness when it comes to facing them. To accompany the attack will be TJ Warren and rookie Deandre Ayton, who had a remarkable debut in the NBA against the Mavericks with 18 points to his account.

The season is starting, we know, and it is difficult to visualize who comes at the best time, but these first games are crucial to gain confidence and reach the top of the Western Conference.

When these teams face the matches they usually exceed 100 points, both play at an explosive pace and their squads have young people, creators of shots and who defend themselves quite well.
